Your findings on focus match mine - not bad but not great. That said, I fully expect Nikon to improve what I already consider to be a very good camera.

Just got one last week and so far it's been performing brilliantly. It was between the Z6, another D750 or maybe a D850 but the silent shutter for theatre and performance work made the decision easy. First foray into the world of mirrorless for me. Hopefully they will bring out a battery grip soon, I know it won't have the controls on it but will make it balance a bit better with a 24-70 2.8 and a flash. Interesting observation about the AF in electronic shutter mode, have to test that out. Great video BTW.

WTF? Only 360 subscriber? Well you got one more now! Top notch Review! Perfect man! I use the camera for myself and I can say the AF is unfortunately bad in really low light but the quality coming out by this amazing Sensor is sick! ISO 10000 is like nothing 😁

We old timers miss 3D focus tracking the most with our Z7 (and other shooters’ Z6). So for shooting wildlife, I am sticking with my D3 & D700 which do have that feature. Maybe Nikon will be listening to us and add that tool.
By the way, I just got my Nikkor Zmount 24-70 f/2.8 and it’s an excellent walk around lens.

The Auto White Balance you complained about. Did you look at all that are available under AutoWB? there are 3 separate AutoWB I prefer Auto0 because that is most like my D7200 and my D700. I will have to try that electronic shutter for tracking. But I have had better luck tracking my boarder tarrier, (small dog) when I clicked the ok button and picked up the dog and then went to BBF to track. It seemed to work. It seems to work pretty well with my 70-200 f2.8 Tamron G2. Pretty good video. Like the hat. You could slow down a bit. I am old and in the south. :D

With the auto white balance, there’s three auto white balance modes, one to make whites white, one to “keep overall atmosphere” and one to keep warm colours, did you have a try with these different modes?
