-Hero Introduction-
Gildur is a cool Tank but he is not one of the easiest to play.
His knockback from his passive can be very good both when you push minion waves because of the aoe damage but also during fights, more so if you have a good positioning and you can knock back the enemy to your team. The passive also gives him a shield everytime he uses a skill so that gives him a bit more survivability.
His 1st skill is a very strong dash that also immediately enables his passive knockback, in the lategame this will be at a low CD giving you high mobility.
His 2nd skill is a very long range skillshot that damages and stun enemy, a very strong skill that will also be at a low cooldown in the lategame. Very cool skill to play with since you can snipe enemies from very long distances.
His ultimate is extremely cool, potentially one of the best CC in the game since it stuns enemies for a long time and in a decently big area but it can be hard to use because if you get interrupted while you are using it the stun will end immediately so you have to know when to cast it and on which heroes to cast it. Of course it's also perfectly fine to use it on a single hero to get a kill, no need to get many heroes necessarily.
I think Gildur can be strong in a team more so if there is another tank like Thane that can go in first, but in any case he is a strong hero to have. The problem is that his stun skill is a skillshot that could be hard to hit and that his ultimate can easily be wasted if not properly used. He still is one of the heroes I like playing a lot :)
-Build-
1st Item - Orb of the Magi: The only Magic item in our build. It gives good Ability Power making our skills stronger but we get it because it also gives a good amount of HP, 10% CDR and a lot of regen everytime we level up.
2nd Item - Sonic Boots: Some skip boots on Gildur but imho they are good to buy, it's a 700g investment that will give you good mobility since the beginning of the game. These boots also give you good Armor and very strong 15% damage reduction from normal attacks, amazing for a tank.
3rd Item - Medallion of Troy: It gives a lot of HP and Magic Defense plus 10% CDR and a strong Magic Shield, very good item versus Magic enemies.
4th Item - The Aegis: A lot of Mana and Armor and a very high 20% CDR bringing us to the 40% CDR cap! The passive is also a useful debuff for the enemies.
5th Item - Gaia's Standard: High HP, good Magic Defense and some Mov. Speed. The passive is going to be very nice because it will give us nice HP regen when we get attacked.
6th Item - Crimson Banner: Gives good Armor and very high HP, its passive will regen 20% of our HP after we get a kill or an assist giving us a ton of sustain during fights.
