This guy from Texas A & M made the fatal comment/error that so many do, which just drives me crazy. He said we must make the painful expenditures to prepare our cities for the effects of climate change. Does he think cities can survive in some sort of bubble, while the rest of the planet cooks. Everything in the city is supplied by resources outside city limits. If temperatures are too hot for much of life to survive/adapt, where do you think we will get our produce, meat and fish from. Where will the lumber to build our homes come from when our forests are dying or burning. Where will our water come from in areas of extreme drought. This guy is living a fantasy.
