1 dead, 6 injured in multi-vehicle Winnetka crash

One person has died and six others are injured after a multi-car crash in Winnetka on Saturday night.

I was wondering Winnetka Illinois? I live in Chicago Illinois which is several miles south from Winnetka. I don't understand the logic in driving very fast in neighborhood streets. I remember back around the early 1950s there were horses pulling wagons of watermelons sharing the same streets with cars in Chicago. Things gotten worse after president Kennedy assassination November 22, 1963.
