My opinion/suggestions is that if you know c language go with c++ as it is too refined for programming and it definitely helps a lot

I've started with c++ . I'll not change until I master it. Yes, I'm very excited that Java will be easier for me.

Java for placement, (most companies priority)
Also some companies come for C++ developer too but only FEW ✌🏼

I started my wasc with c++ in 8th standard but as soon as Java comes in syllabus of 9th I'm excited to do it and now much more interacted with Java and python.
