The Oni is a literal demon that is atleast 7-8 feet tall with a club that will smash your head like a watermelon. For Micheal, people probably just think he is all powerful because he can lift up an entire human being and stick a knife through them or make them hang on the wall with his knife. The Oni is so powerful that he can make people scream when he hits his kanabo on the ground. Plus, Oni means demon and the japanese demons/onis have always had extremely heightened Strength, speed, durability and agility.
