This montage of time-lapse photography from the International Space Station is collected from many taken in Expeditions 29, 30 and 31.

The goal with this sequence was to bring a bit more attention to the station itself, including the humans aboard it, particularly Don Pettit (appearing in the final shot) who took many of the sequences in this montage.

I wonder if it's even possible to ever get bored looking out that window at the entire earth below you. I could stare at that all day.

the flat earthers need to make a crowdfunded exploration trip with 2 ships going around Antarctica, each in opposite direction. Film it. Another way is to fly over it and film it. Show me that endless ice wall.

I'm a 68 year old woman and every time I see something like this I find myself totally in awe.  We grew up with the space program.  Thank you for your great courage.  God bless you.

I wish they were my photos - I just downloaded then from NASA... I don't know the details, but if you were to look up the photos from the EOL site using the sequence number in the description of this video, it might have that detail.

Inspiring, poetic, humbling, exhilarating and if this doesn't ignite your soul.... you don't have one.

The sheer beauty of our home world is humbling and yet the tragedy of what we are doing to it and to each other is a sad reminder of how far we need to go. Perhaps this little video will be like the picture of the Earth taken from Apollo 8 - in 1968 ... and force us to reexamine ourselves, our priorities, our self importance and our vanity. Thank you David.

If I was up there, with nothing to do I would just sit by one of those windows and listen to two steps from hell

Always a pleasure to view the Earth from a majestic place high up in orbit. Looks like a sapphire jewel set against the black velvet of space, and with such clarity we can only appreciate. Nice music to accompany the video too. It kind of makes us want to explore more of what's out there and, at the same time, realize how precious our planet really is. We need to look after it for future generations who no doubt will soon be able to make these journeys more easily, and sooner than we think.

Enjoy.
