Hey Jeff, thanks for sharing your experience with the Tekton Roll Cab. I recently retired after 35 years as an Auto Mechanic and still have my Snap-On Boxes I bought 30 years ago. I believe the Tekton tool boxes are made by by Rousseau a Canadian company. I have looked at several Tekton boxes and they are very well built. You pointed out the very clever drawer mounting system that makes them easily customizable. The roller bearings, at least the Tekton boxes I looked at, have sealed bearings. This is in contrast to the rows of exposed ball bearings used by everyone else. If you work in a Body Shop, for example, there's a lot of stuff in the air that gets to those ball bearings and eventually hinders their ability to move smoothly.

I like that you can add dividers and the drawers extend all the way out.

Nice! Still using my Craftsman from twenty or so years ago and still going strong!

I got myself the gold Icon ratchet as a shits n giggles gift for myself. It looks nice hanging inside the hutch of my Icon box.
Look into the tekton socket rails and trays. They’ll really free up a lot of space in that top drawer. Ernst makes the same ones.
Another thing that’s nice for tool box organization is a 3D printer.

I absolutely love the tekton boxes and the features, especially the drawer latches but I guess I’ll admire from afar because they are out of my price range

My 10's are fine.. says the man who knows the legend only too well. Thank you, brother, for sharing this. I have new found respect for this Tekton box. The slots on the side really appealed to my OCD. Glad to be a subscriber. Looking forward to more videos. God bless you

I have 3 old Craftsman tool boxes. I bought in the late 70s than the huge one that has 2 sides and huge chest ( one for Scabapalliar and the other for home). I have never had any sharp edges but my drawers are high enough to stand wrenches and pillars upright that way they take up less space

Great toolbox setup! Knowing where tools are is key!

I love good toolbox tour vids.

Yours is GREAT big Bear!!

I have heard some good things about the Tekton boxes.

I have a bunch of sockets, two ratchets (3/8" and 1/4") and a breaker bar from them, and I have been pleased with them so far.

SHINE ON!! :)

Thanks. I have never seen a Tekton box. I wish USG did the lift latches. I prefer these to the tension latches on my 44 or the slide latches on the larger boxes.

I love all my Tekton tools. They are amazing. I break my 3/8 breaker bar once a month and they just laugh tell me to try the 1/2 and send a head.

I did a goofy thing this week. But I amuse myself, and I think it funny enough to share with the crowd...since a toolbox video popped up in my feed:

I have a really decent toolbox. I don't know the size, but t has enough drawers for al of my hand tools, and a nice wood veneer work bench on top. It was on sale at Orange a few years back for 300 bones. They still sell the same model today for closer to 500. Being Orange, and having been on sale, you probably guessed that it is a Husky. It's nothing to brag about, I like it and it is the one I have...all at the same time.

But I was deep cleaning the garage last week, when I noticed that the adhesive behind the "Husky" emblem was giving up the ghost. It was starting to fall off, wo I grabbed it and pulled it the rest of the way off. Then I thought "self, you handsome devil, if you have to replace an emblem...where is the rule that the new one has to say "Husky?" I really thougght was just goofing on myself, until I "got to googlin' " and found that, for 10 bucks...Amazon will send you the same exact size emblem...the only difference is that they spelled "Husky" "S-N-A-P-O-N."

Hahahaha...yes, I am an idiot. But while self aware, I just could not resist. I bought it.

That Tekton box is something special? I know industrial tool boxes, being in the field, and that is right up there with Lista and the big boys, without the bigger price tag? Not cheap, by no means, just looked at the specs. when you first got delivery of it? I'd do that box any day, if I was in the market, just a tad small for all my 30 years of accumulated tool purchases? The single bank of large drawers, and good drawer depth, is what I prefer, and that box will hold more than what most would assume? Great job, Bear.

It seems the latest tool storage style is wide. The old narrow Craftsman 3 tool box configuration were pretty good for cramped garage space . I think Grizzly is possibly the closest.

Tekton makes fantastic tools. I have switched from Snap On to Tekton. Can’t beat the US General boxes though.

Do your Bear Cubs help you those drawers so well organized? Very nice.
