In this video, with is the last part of a Calculus 1 lecture on Implicit Differentiation, we review properties of logarithms and apply them to find derivatives of complicated functions. This allows us to bypass Product, Quotient, and General Power Rules in some cases. The technique of Logarithmic Differentiation requires both the Chain Rule and Implicit Differentiation.
