One of the best upcycles of a vintage item I've seen in a good while. And you honored the item rather than destroy it because you knew and understood the textile you were working with. I only say that because I've been seeing people cutting up vintage crocheted items lately and as a crocheter of 35 years those videos give me anxiety and make me feel queasy! lol
