At the end of the day, none of that bullshit matters as long as it’s a car from pointed a point B absolutely fascinating you’re blessed brother 🙏

As to the water leak issue with the target top, something I learned when I owned a Del Sol, if you are like me and don't take the top off often you can apply heavy silicone gel to seal it. It doesn't dry out much and remain pliable.

My C4 cup holders were designed to fit the kids water cups at McDonald’s in the 80’s early 90’s😂

Had a C5 Z06, fully built and forged LS6, cammed, boosted, long tubes, tuned and on and on. It was slammed to the ground and went through 3 BOV’s because they’d get ripped off due to clearance issues, no matter how careful I was and had to plan ahead where I was going. Other than that, it was a great car and absolutely ripped. I’m sure there were faster cars out there but never came across one

My ‘03 Z06 (now my son’s) leaked a bit on the drivers side from the time it was new. Still an amazing car today - with power added making it even better!

Solutions use round water bottle don’t go over big ass bumps or buy a truck and replace seals or get some conditioner for the seals from maguires

That leaking is probably a bit dependent on the last owner and how it was maintained. Neglecting a small leak will turn into a large leak

The targa-top is a normal screw-up. With convertibles and targas you should be applying Vaseline to the seals at least once a year. They will last as long as you take care of them.

Nolan’s on my 2001 Vette. If it’s too low for you, don’t get a Vette!! There’s ways around the crappy cup holder too.

I bet I can fix your leaky seal issue: adjust the latches that keep the target top on. Tighten them one more turn in and you'll probably make most of your leaks go away. These cars are now 10-25 years past their origination date and the rubber may have shrunken a touch. Use Allen wrenches to adjust the target top latches.

There is no eating drinking in my car either. I worked too hard for anything to happen to the interior. No smoking too, i quit smoking over a year ago, if you can't handle a car ride without nicotine you're the one with a problem. Not me.

Another thing is the steering wheel, takes 500 cranks to make a full turn, the turning radius is trash and the wheel is really tight😂

I like those seats. What is the style, make, manufacturer information on them please and thank you.

I have a 98. The top doesn't leak in the rain unless it's DUMPING. I get a decent stream inside everytime I wash it if the hose hits the right spot though.

I think you hurt a couple people's feelings 😂 Corvette people are something else, man.

Just replace your weather strips to prevent water leak I have a 1985 C4 and it doesn't leak I'd be surprised if the C5 did

maybe I got lucky with my fla car but never had leaks ...I did keep the seals conditioned often
