Makes me think of this girl I used to love. I really thought we'd end up together. Grew up, realized love wasn't that magical happy ending like in the movies. I love her still, but we're on different paths now

I cannot even express how in love I am with The Lumineers. It's extremely rare to find a band that I love every single song of, and they've done it. They put so much thought into each song and I'm always mesmerised when listening to them. They sound even better live in the studio compared to the album version and that's certainly something special. Hats off to them.

This song makes me think of sunrise. I was on graveyard shift when this song came out. It's crazy when your trapped in a moment it seems as if time is going slow. Then you blink and it's only 2023 for a few more days. 2024. Wow. Where did 2011 and 2012 go?
