There is another way to remember this. C can be changed to a 9 and then the O turn to 0 = CO= 90
S can be changed to 8 L take out the bottom line to become a one 1 and U add a line to make 0=LSU=180

Draw a line down the openning of the C and get a 9 in the word Complementary. Not the 9 I just typed, but a 9 with a straight line, not a curved line.

Draw a line connecting both ends of the S and you get an 8 for 180 in Supplementary.
