Endemol was founded in the Netherlands by Joop van den Ende and John de Mol through a merger of their production companies "Joop van den Ende TV-Producties" and "John de Mol Produkties". On 1st January 2015, Endemol merged with Shine Group to form the Endemol Shine Group. As of 2021, Endemol still survives in Portugal, the last country to still use the Endemol name and logo.

Seen on orher show in endmeol are Steve Harvey's Daytime Talk Show/Steve Harvey, Deal or No Deal, Wipeout, other International Gameshows. Sometimes it changed into shine seen on other shows were Big Brother Minute to Win it, Masterchef, hells kitchen. And other international shows by Endemol & Banijay.
