The song starts pretty eerie but progresses to a more "cheerful" accompaniment as Spinel starts to feel better. Her last line "I already feel found" continues to hit me so bad. I think she steals the show in this movie and wish we had a chance to see more of her. Also I love that this song is sung again in the reprise of Let Us Adore You. <3

This scene made me cry so much ): it can be really hard to trust people again or open yourself up to love someone or be loved. I’ve heard arguments on YouTube saying that spinel being with the diamonds isn’t really a “fix” to the damage both parties face and that she’s just a surrogate for pinks absence. But I think her being with them is deeper and therapeutic. The diamonds all acknowledged their wrong doings with pinks upbringing (ex: locking her up or not including her) and Spinel is essentially an abandoned child needing a family. I think it gives Spinel and the diamonds a chance to try again, apply what they learned, and heal together.

I think this song is really underrated, it's not just about abusive or toxic relationships. For anyone who has abused or mistreated, whether it be by a significant other, a family member, or a friend, it can be hard to let your walls down and love again. To be vulnerable around and trust others. I speak from experience. Sometimes it can feel like you'll never love or trust again, but this song gives me (and hopefully others like me) hope that we'll someday heal, even if not fully, and be able to love/trust others again. We're all born instinctively trusting our parents and all those around us, and when that trust is betrayed, especially for a child, it can be extremely scarring. But someday, somehow, somewhere, I hope that I can say we will all be found.

P.S. Steven would make an excellent guidance counselor/therapist. Who's with me? XD

I like to believe that last part is Spinel realizing that she owes everything to the person who replaced Pink and set her free just like Lapis, Bismuth, and every one of his enemies to a degree. Not only that but he wasn’t even afraid of who she was and relived the worst day of her life with her so she could help him, and in return he would grant her somewhere to belong

If you haven't watched paranorman:, you can understand. After watching this movie, I thought of the 2012 film paranorman and I thought of the main character Norman and the villan somewhat of the story agatha prendergast. Agathas backstory really hit her hard so did spinels they both turned evil and wanted to hurt the ones that hurt them they tend to forget that there's still someone good out there for you somewhere. I simply think this is a parallel since spinel is almost like agatha and Stevens like Norman when they talked it out at this scene and at the end. Tell me if I'm wrong pls
