Amazing vision, tenacious ambition, and (from this armchair at least) flawless execution. Thanks for sharing your powerful dreams.

This is so damn exciting! While I may not get a ride, I'm hopeful my daughter does! This short trip brought tears of joy to my eyes.

That what I've been talking about for many years is that rockets are outdated. Only a wing will allow safely lift tons of cargo and accelerate with a rocket engine in the atmosphere
I'm glad it finally happened

Branson's Virgin Galactic flies above 80 kilometers (or about 262, 000 feet), which is the altitude the U.S. recognizes as the boundary of space, while Bezos' Blue Origin flies above 100 kilometers (or about 328, 000 feet), which is commonly known as the Kármán Line.

One of the most amazing things to have watched, can only hope to someday have the opportunity to experience this for myself.

The competition is, and will be, fierce - reaching an apogee of 86km while a privately developed space vessel (Crew Dragon) aboard a privately developed carrier (F9) brings astronauts to and from the ISS at a mean altitude of 408km. With a lot better video and audio feeds, both from the vessel and the live coverage presenters.

Keep working and fighting, Branson & Virgin, there's a lot of work yet to be done, and unbelievable achievements to come in space exploration, regardless of who gets there first. Fascinating vehicle, albeit with a slightly anti-climactic launch compared to a vertical one. It's been a helluva journey getting this far though, and you've been pushing through the difficulties along the way - but the sky really is the limit, keep pushing!

Good job on the success of Unity 22!

Space shuttle astronaut Scott Parazynski was asked about his favorite space experience...he said there were three: the blastoff into space, the first moment of silence and zero G as the engine cuts off, and the first view of Earth. This flight gives you all three and for a tiny fraction of the expense of going into orbit.
