This is all INSANELY interesting, and I really hope Ubisoft can pull this off. Knowing Ubisoft recent track record, I would say no, but the reveal of all of these things really makes it seem like they are beginning to be more like their old self, which is a good sign. I have hopes, but not jumping on the hype train just yet.

Cautiously optomistic for Mirage and AC Japan. FINALLY we get the Japan setting and a "more back to the roots" game. I'm not a fan of the AC RPG route but a setting that I am familiar and fascinated with like Japan would definitely get my attention. Really bring out my inner hypocrite. Knowing Ubi's track record there is a very good chance they will muck it up. I don't have HIGH hopes....just hopes. Which is better than complete and utter indifference

I honestly think Unity should be the standard for multiplayer. Sure, the game had a horrendous launch, but that style of multiplayer was so enjoyable to play with other people.

I love this franchise since ac1 released. This solidified my passion for gaming, history, mythology, religion and science as well as gaming. Played all the main games, side games, mobile games, psp games, ds games, the comics and even the movie. Hell even got the logo tattooed on my ring finger. It's not perfect but it has everything that has become a passion and love of mine in life and just like to study and play through. All these annouments got me excited. Even jade cause regardless of what people say ubi has made solid open world ac mobile games already. I trust they can do it again since bloodlines and identity were years apart and they still made them solid.
Now we get feudal Japan, China, Germany most likely during the witch trials when the holy Roman empire reined there, a return to ac having multi-player again, mirage, and a confirmation that the show is still in hyped. I'm open to all things ac as honestly only a few have truly disappointed me. Don't care for the hate I get my stance. That's how I feel about this franchise. It's a very unique and yet vast and diverse franchise and always has been. I'm all for this

shinobi were covert agents or mercenaries of feudal japan that were often times used by samurai warlords to do black ops missions which in many cases The functions of a ninja included reconnaissance, espionage, infiltration, deception, ambush, and bodyguarding and many times they too were samurai

I wouldn’t be surprised if going forward all games basically have a mix of the old games and the new as far as the stealth mechanics and the RPG stuff which in reality is pretty much a good middle ground or where they should take the franchise that way everyone gets something

Hexe looks like it will be set during the 30 years war. I'm really loving the dark and gothic feel of that trailer.

I assume it's going to be like Assassin's Creed Unity in the beginning of that there was a UI where it showed multiple time periods you just couldn't click on any of them or do anything you could only click on the first one I think they're taking it that idea and just changing the way the UI is

It feel that they are going two different paths here for ac. Mirage feels like the old Assassin's Creed, which will satisfy old fans and if it's a massive success they would likely do another one focusing in the old aspects of AC, it also have connections to the OG AC because of basim connected to eivor, eivor is kinda connected to Connor because of the apple and so on. Then we have the Code names which have rpg aspects to it satisfying the newer fans and probably some old fans, and it looks like it's not connected to the OG AC, maybe Jade will because of Shawn or Shaun from Ezio's story from the animated short film, but let's see if it will.

AC 1 definitely needs to be a remake or remastered. I’m quite sure they know that. They’re making Japan so, if we keep the pressure, maybe they’ll make it so.

Odyssey and Fenyx are the ubisoft games I have enjoyed the most so I am pleased the studio behind them is working on the feudal Japan game, that will be very cool. 👍😁😎
