What a "classic" record from the late-great Nate Nelson and the immortal "Flamingos"! After moving to NYC from Chicago they signed with END records and recorded this "Do-Wopp" masterpeice, in the spring of 1959. This is one of the BEST!! This is truly a great record/song with "The Flamingos" super-smooth, super-tight harmony and the great lead of Nate Nelson (RIP).  Through the British invasion, Disco-pop-crap of the 70's, all the music of the 80's and 90's, this song truly has endured and stood the test of time!  It has been featured in many movies, television shows, and commercials through out the years and many love this song around the world. I met Terry Johnson a few years ago (at a show in westchester county NY) and he was a gentleman. He carries on with the "Flamingos" and they do a great show. Even through their line-up changes over the years, "The Flamingos" have recorded many great "Do-Wopp" records/songs and are and were one of the BEST groups of all time! Again, a true "classic".
