Honestly I like the breaths instead of the swearing for the “don’t fuck with my love.” But I think the “We were staying in the same fucking hotel floor” is just so perfect.

Like I feel if the chorus was kept clean but that one line had “fuck” in it it would’ve been perfect. Like it would’ve shown that throughout the song he’s upset but composed, but the bridge would’ve just been an angry stream of consciousness. Like he’s trying to stay composed but toward the end of the song he gets all “WE WERE STAYING IN THE SAME FUCKING HOTEL FLOOR”

Ed Sheeran cut all the curse words from his new album on the advice of a taxi driver.

He made major changes to his second record,  X, following an enlightening conversation with a cabbie, who told the star he would not let his young daughter listen to songs which featured obscenities.

"My album is clean now. I cut the explicit lyrics out after a taxi driver convinced me it was the right thing to do, " Sheeran told.

"He said he wouldn't have let his daughter listen to it otherwise. So I did it, " Sheeran said.

As much as I love the swearing so much more than the breaths, I think the reason he made it clean on the album is really sweet. Someone told him that his daughter loved his music, except that he didn't like how much Ed swears, so Ed mad X completely curse-free.
