hey. Thank you so much for this video. I got a nitro 5 today with ryzen 5 6600H and rtx 3060 and 16gb ddr5 ram and 512gb m.2 ssd. So i wanted to put in a sn850 1 tb but i didt get the backside off:( But gonna try again tomorrow like you did with yours.

I’m having an issue where my screen just stays grey and doesn’t show the acer logo or anything when i installed my new ram. I have the same model and installed 32gb of crucial ram. and tips? maybe it’s not seating right? I had the acer logo pop up once but it went away and back to the greyish screeb

Hi, do we need to remove battery before adding Ram? Is it safe to add ram without removing the battery? Im gonna upgrade my Ram.. Need to add 8 Gb DDr4 with pre installed 8 gb and gonna do it for 1 st time.

thanks but you didnt write what kind of sodimm will this laptoop use. mine come withone slot with 8gb 3200 1RX16
there are 1RX8 or 2RX8 or even 1RX16 to buy on amazon. some companies dont eve write what are their components

Good Morning, I have a nitro 5 an517-51 with only 16gb ram and poor storage. I was wondering, if I was to buy an extra 16gb and 2 tv ssd drive would you upgrade anything else whilst it is open? If so what?

Mine comes with the little doors I might have an older gen, mine comes with one RAM slot. Would the other slot be somewhere else? And would disconnecting the battery be in a different location?

i upgraded my nitro an515-44 and added hyperx impact 8gb 3200mhz ram and when I booted it up it just shows black screen and doesnt even show the acer logo
