Why is this video 1 minute? Sheesh (Phil laughs). Yeah, UBIK's definitely up there, & A Scanner Darkly... VALIS was the one that changed my life tho, literally putting you in his head during his breakdown. After that I felt a distinct empathy & connection to him (like Mercerism) that never went away....

I go for The Unteleported Man because it’s both bizarre and humorous. It’s sort of like Alice in Wonderland.

It really feels like Dick is trying to promote God and religion with this book. Am I missing something? Or is this just religious propoganda to promote the idea of faith?

What a shocker, nostalgia in full force.
Ubik is a terrible book filled with potholes, false flags, pointless characters, and full of filler. Dick was not a good writer, there is a reason he died in obscurity and his books didnt sell.
