I've never seen anyone season the chicken while it's in the frying pan before. But I can understand her wanting to cook chicken the way her mother taught her to do. My mother put pecans on her red velvet cake. Now I only make it that way.

Paula fry your chicken. It’s a bizarre approach to cooking. Putting the seasoning in the oil is seasoning the oil not the chicken, that could explain a lot of dishes at the office potluck.

Like I tell my 7 year old son, everyone is different and have their way of doing things. So if she likes it, I love it! People really concerned over how she cooks for her and her family/kids class??? Who cares if she seasons her flour then dips the chicken into fry or seasons after its in the frying the seasonings are still being fried. Everyone can cook how they please. She's so sweet and kind.

I have a lot of white friends and they have NEVER! 😑 …now I’ve seen just salt & pepper, but that was pre frying & I’ve never saw them season grease.
