When my husband and I met 33 years ago, we felt this way about one another—thus intense all consuming love and energy. We had three children and we had our ups and downs, mainly ups:) But he always had health issues, probably from childhood traumas, but we sailed on. However, he couldn’t battle his health any longer. In 2021 he crossed over, and while this shifted our unit, I still feel him. So the cosmic forces of our love still creates an energy field. So yes, this kind of love is real.

I’ve loved the story of Orpheus and Eurydice ever since I read a small article about it in I think 6th grade English class. So naturally I became obsessed with this musical’s soundtrack when I found it. And then I finally saw a bunch of videos of the musical here on YouTube and my goodness I am even more enchanted. I absolutely love the way that hadestown tells their story. And I love that they also include the story of hades and Persephone. It’s simply a beautiful musical and this song is my favorite one to watch.

The way Eurydice and Orpheus move about in this makes it almost seems like theyre just doing a rehearsal. If this is an actual day of performance, there should be choreographed and decided movements the characters should make during each scene. And they should stick with it. They both just look so awkward and clumsy
