Its the same thing as the HDD loader, just in a different form factor. Here is hoping they can figure out how to make it NVMe soon.

The GameCube is also built like a brick built to last. I have mine the year after they were released. Only thing I had to do since then was change the AV cords.

Gamecube can't fully utilize the speed of SSD I'm pretty sure.. not sure if it will even notice the difference

Well, considering we have nvme snd they have sata... I think we can keep up

Yes, but it will only be as fast as the connection interface is. You likely won't get nearly close to the top speeds that the drive is capable of. But it should be faster then a cheap HDD or sd card
