One reason why I'm particularly excited for the reboot is the MUSIC. I've always loved how each and every different CO has a different theme. The reboot took the CO music and amplified to the MAX by giving each CO theme a makeover and each CO a CUSTOM CO POWER THEME. So far, Nell's Co Power theme slaps so much.

AW1 tutorial and Nell🤩
7 Year old me discoverd AW1 20 years ago through my best childhood friend at that time. Who had all the consoles and games while I had nothing. I was so obsessed that I played it until 6 am in the morning when I slept over. Starring at the screen the full night caused hallucinations - I saw the Unit sprites in windows and waterdrops - when I tried so hard to progress as far as possible in the campaign, because the memory of the cartridge was broken, were only able to finish the Blue moon missions and tutorial. If I shut down the game, the progress was reseted....
Later played AW2 against my Brother and Stepdad. AW:DS in school breaks with my classmates. Soon as I got Days of Ruin at Christmas, I went missing with it the entire evening....
(DoR best game ever! Despite the cut content compared to the other games in the series. Check it out!) Today, I still play those games here and then, and also since almost a year the web version:
Advance Wars by Web. Having a blast with it's amazing community and the challenging, competitive multiplayer.

When I saw the reboot announcement, I cried, had tears in my eyes like Olaf after the Final AW1 mission... I just couldn't believe what I saw...
Thank you so much whoever came up with the Idea to give AW another shot! May it be atleast another 20 years of Advance Wars!

It'll matter when it's released and Nintendo will stop blue balling the users by delaying the game, every time they give you a release date they're letting you taste the tip.

It's odd how Fire Emblem is OK but Advance Wars is verboten. At what point does warfare become too taboo? Swords, bows, axes, and immolation is fine? Throwing an axe into someones head is fine, someone getting stabbed is fine... but no submarine torpedos? Having a few toy soldiers pew pew at each other is not OK? What about cannons? Flintlock guns? Wheel guns? Muskets? Crossbows? What year's warfare technology is officially not acceptable?

Gimme a break. These dolts act like ignoring death makes it go away in real life. Everyone dies, but not everyone enjoys life. Get over it!
