Africa remembers her friend
We, Africans will always grateful to the former Soviet Union (Russia), for standing with us at the most critical times.

The 62% unemployment rate in South Africa, 68 murders per day, five hours of power blackout every day seven days per week, securing our borders is way more important than what's happening on other continents.

46:00, when the South African foreign minister started comparing Palestine to Ukraine, suddenly the voice was not transmitted clearly anymore, once that comparison ended, everything got back to normal.
Good job "Independent" TV

US UK and EU setup Africa & South America as their toilet, the people there as toilet servant. Toilet must remain as toilet, not to develop. But China came around and develop the toilet into living room, and the servant became owner. So they are very angry to lost the toilet....

It's only my humble opinion, but everything that Blinken says or does is anti-democratic in foreign countries. He's not well loved to say the least, not even in Europe. His speech in South Africa is about re-colonization of parts they (the US-elite) think is important to them. Does Blinken care about the common people in the rest of continent ? I doubt it very much.

I’m quite impressed by the South African foreign minister. She seems to be quite a sage lady. What it appears she is saying in context though is that African nations can choose independently on their own which side to take- either China or the US. So I suppose what that really means is that it will depend on whether it is China or the US that could bribe African leaders the most…

Democracy cannot exist in nations in which corruption is the norm. African people live under too much crime and political turbulence.

I’m really curious what Secretary Blinken is offering South Africa to steer it towards US influence? Quite personally, I think a trading route from South Africa to Egypt to Saudi Arabia’s Neom to Israel might be a valuable future trading route. Kind of like rebuilding the trading routes of Ancient Egypt…

The lack of a giant oil and gas find in South Africa makes me wonder about the reason for the American politician's visit. Why the sudden interest? President Putin visited South Africa in 2006, then I guess gave up because cANCer is too corrupt for Russians. Americans followed and abandoned SA in/around 2008. Also, because they too thought the cANCer was too corrupt. Every ten to twelve years Americans have token interest in (South) Africa only to abandon and forget again.

Sounds like Mr Blinken us going to apologize for the 1864 Long March of the Navajos...?
