I have to say, your content is far more engaging than missenden flyer or lambchop rides. This is solid.

Happy you like the nightshift, Dan. I own a 23 Icon and totally agree with everything you said. Im 50+ but this is my first bike so def. aimed at beginners.. but not just young hipsters. The indicators and mirrors are standard (as your tester) on the nightshift. A few other bits also like the flat bar make it quite a bit more expensive than the Icon and Full Throttle. I have a few custom pieces on mine alreday - a quickshifter and the bar from the full throttle. A few other bits to be replaced this year if all goes as plannned. Can’t wait to get back on the road. Great vid. Ride safe. 😊

So weird watching this video to check out this bike and slowly coming to the realisation that I recognise the roads and it’s like hang on I live around there!

First time on your channel. You have the most understable english accent that I've heard (english is not my first language) and your review of this bike made me reconsider my options. I wanted something light and nice handling for the city and was thinking about the trident 660 or a duke 790, but i often visit my grandparents on a small town with rock roads and I figured that those bikes wont like those roads, so I started looking into the scramblers and your review had me more inclined into the nighshift as it looks like it would work on the city and it's just good enough for rough roads. Now I just need to know if it has enough power for the highway. Thank you very much!

Really enjoyed this. Definitely on my radar as a first bike. Will be looking forward to test driving it alongside the Yamaha XSR700 and CB650R. Thanks so much for the video!

It’s a beautiful bike. I’ve ridden it. The ergonomics are not good for me as I prefer and more upright position. But many people will enjoy this bet over ergonomics.

Yep, I test rode the icon and monster and picked scrambler. Small, compact, handles great, power not licence threatenin, light, smooth. Only negative are price and mudguards. Goes well on green lanes and shit roads. May upgrade suspension.

great review Dan, I test rode one yesterday after passing my DAS and am still smiling. Have a few other bikes to ride but its high on the list of contenders

LOL! Yeah maybe saying "Im down with the kids" is not the most appropriate thing to say in order to convey your belief in your ability to be currently hip.

Like the chic look of the bike. Fun review! Haven't been here in a while and have forgotten how good your reviews are. Cheers!

I'd love to buy a Icon or a Full Throttle but the prices are crazy. There are so many options out there now, that also don't carry those maintenance costs either. That new 400 triumph, even thou it's a "budget bike" will steal alot of sales from the Icon as it's half the price (two for one!). I think Ducati has priced themselves out of the market for this new scrambler. My local dealer has barely sold any. Would love to see their sales figures for it since it's been out.

What a fabulous colour that bike is! All of my other opinions about it are moderated by it's preposterous price and Ducati servicing lurking in the hazy £££££ distance. Still, as you say, fun - for hobbyists with deep wallets. Safe riding.

I do like the look of the Ducati scrambler, but because Ducati have released the new Hypermotard 698 into their arsenal I'm really tempted by that machine now.
Great review again Dan 👍😊

I have the 400 Sixty2 version and apart from the little bit uncomfortable seat it's perfect for today's type of riding.
