Walrus Audio Mako D1 - Tanner's Two-Minute Tryouts

The Mako series from Walrus is a finely-crafted lineup of true quality pedalwork. Similar to the R1 Reverb, the D1 has a perfect compliment of standard echo flavors and inspiringly experimental options which gave me plenty to choose from when picking a tryout configuration. This multi-tap, vintage/lo-fi, modulated-repeat setting was borderline Bladerunner in mood and murky like an old basement. Enjoy!

Tanner's Two-Minute Tryouts are a series of fast demos of nearly one hundred guitar effects pedals. These aren't comprehensive pedal reviews - instead, I am looking for a setting that I find immediately inspiring and capturing the first thing that comes to mind. Sometimes messy, sometimes dreamy, always around two minutes.
