I’m 48 years old I have played guitar for over 30 years never played on stage never played in a band I was asked to play bass for church I have not played bass I only play guitar heavy metal mostly so I said yes and I was very scared and nervous but I said yes to my brother at church my pastor and most of all to God I practiced for 6 days and on Sunday I literally forced myself to getup on that platform and trusted the Holy Spirit with me and said this is for God this is what we need at church live music there’s no one else to do it I will do it for God and we had a fantastic service I made mistakes I panicked a few times but everyone else didn’t notice everyone said how pretty the music was and proud they was of me for playing up there and I feel good about it because for the first time I genuinely enjoyed it for God I obeyed and He carried me in this and I will be playing every Sunday now all glory to God I do feel like I’m not good enough I do feel like I’m to broken to be any good for use but I stepped out of my comfort zone and trust God he will be there with me I’m not alone he can use me I didn’t think I could be useful but I walked out in faith I stepped out ok here I am I’ll play I’ll help

My testimony is that I had never stood up and spoke at a funeral before. I had grown up catholic so I new how to say the rosary at funerals but had recently been baptized Christian just months earlier. This time my uncle that was only 7 yrs older than me had passed from cancer. Half way through the rosary, I heard the HOLY SPIRIT say "you are stand up when the rosary is over and I will use your vessel to speak to everyone." I felt fear but only for a moment but then I agreed. When the rosary was finished, I stood up and told my other uncle that I wished to share some words. My heart was beating very hard but then I breathed in a large breathe and just then the HOLY SPIRIT addressed everyone. After the service, I had many people come to me and said " it was wierd but I was thinking something and just then you spoke what was in my mind." Person after person came to me with thanks for speaking what they felt. Praise to our Lord and Holy holy holy is the Ghost. Thanks be to God.

I see 'fruitless' crusades happening in certain areas in my home country and I usually don't like it. Funny though that there's a time I participated in a 'fruitless' crusade yet the Holy Spirit's power was with us. Isaiah 6:9 has shown me that I should still serve the Lord whether or not there're fruits. Thank you, David!!!😄

I did feel afraid ministering in Judea and Samaria where terrorism was a regular reality. When I verbally questioned my calling, GI felt the powers of hell surrounding me and it was only by the grace of God that I heard His quiet rebuke. From that day forward I had a new found boldness in the fear of God!

Yes, afraid every day because of the weight, God’s will is heavy.
The fear of missing the mark, doing or saying the wrong thing, my humanity interfering with my spirit’s will.
The only way I’ve found to settle the fear and anxiety is to read the Bible, in doing so you realize there wasn’t a called person who didn’t miss a mark, except Jesus.
Also, surrendering to the reality, it’s never me, it’s always God.

I still feel fearful at times but the Holy Spirit helps me to overcome through His strength and reminds me of His promises.
A bible verse that encourages me a lot is Isaiah 41:10 - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
