The GOLDEN AGE man oh man 80s through the 90s when SUPERSTARS played at a high level and didnt look for anyone or ask anyone to join their team for a chance to win a championship. Thats what I miss about the NBA, LB and Dwade are right about the fact NO one has ever done it by himself but at that time, Players were so competitive and u knew their was that sense of competition and Rivalry. None of those stars ever came out and said I want help on my team, all they did was PLAY to the

Role players can also be legends. Dennis Rodman is a role player and made it to the Hall of Fame deservingly. Robert Horry was involved in a lot of clutch plays during the playoffs that basketball fans will always remember. That defines what a legend is.
