SERIES SUMMARY
The Alpha Jay Show reviews animation episodes, animated TV movies, cartoons, and other things as a main series. I have reviewed many things from Fairly Oddparents to SpongeBob to Teen Titans Go to The Amazing World Of Gumball and many more. Expect a fair, open-minded and non-pandering review of whatever episode I use. What do you think of Timmy's Secret Wish?

Who remembers when Jorgan was actually intimidating?

Tootie would have made way more sense than Chloe. Timmy got his fairies due to neglect and Vicky. Tootie lives with Vicky, so she needs help too

Remember when Jorgan was genuinely threatening? He didn’t last too long like that, but even when he cooled off a little after season 1, you would always get the feeling that his presence meant something. He FELT like he was the rule of Law in fairy world, and so whenever he was humiliated, we immediately knew that all of fairy world had it much worse.
But by the end, he was just a muscular Cosmo.

It a shame this episode fell flat since the idea of Timmy being the reason why time never moved forward in the show could have been an interesting set up to explore even in a comedic sense

Foop has to be one of the most worthless characters I've ever seen. He added absolutely nothing to the show.

If all of Timmy's wishes were revoked, Crocker would have grown up normally and the Pixies would rule over Fairy World

Little fact for those that don't know. In the original pilot shorts for the Fairly Oddparents, Cosmo was actually really smart and witty, and Wanda, while she wasn't dumb like Cosmo is now, she was actually a klutz. Now Wanda and Cosmo are more like...modern sitcom wife and husband characters. (Like Homer and Marge, or Peter and Lois.) If they stuck with their original personalities from the pilot episodes, their chemistry would probably be similar to Linda and Bob from Bob's Burgers.

"You are truly the worst godchild ever" not really. Generally Timmy makes a wish with good intentions and it goes wrong. Plus he's not a bad kid he's just a kid. I'm sick of people making Timmy out to be a bad person.

This special could have changed so much and still be good. Imagine if Timmy did make that no age wish, but instead of 50 years passing by it was instead 4 or 5 years making Timmy a teenager. The secret wish gets undone and Timmy somehow gets back to fairyworld to get his fairies back. After some trials and tribulations that makes Timmy grow as a character, the fairy counsel decides to allow Timmy to have his fairies back and all the wishes except the age wish get restored. So, Timmy would now be a teenager in high school and that would bring new the challenges to the show. Timmy would have to learn how to drive and be more responsible for his actions. Timmy could even get a job.

i was looking up jason marsden the guy who plays chester and holy crap you were right about how much this show has forgotten about him and AJ too. chester hasnt had a single line of dialog since 2011 and the guy who plays AJ hasnt had any line since 2012!

Okay, the biggest sign of The Fairly Oddparents running out of magic (pun intended) is that aside from hearsay and whatnot, I had no idea they even made this special. No commercials on TV, no advertising except for a dull promo, *nothing* signified that this thing existed officially until now.

Not even a marathon of Timmy's Dumbest Wishes up to this.

And for once, I'm actually not surprised it ended like it did: on some random episode--if they can't even hype up a supposed world-shattering special anymore, how are they keeping the show running without merchandise?

Not to mention that they basically decided to make this special because they wanted to explain the floating timeline gimmick two decades after everyone stopped caring.

Here's a plothole I noticed in the episode, Timmy Turnip: So Timmy's grandparents come to visit, and they're from a weird country, called Ustinkastan. Timmy gets sick of them, and so he wishes they had never left Ustinkastan. As a result, Timmy and his family are living there, and it's revealed that the fairy godparents of Ustinkastanian children can only grant wishes that involve turnips-but Poof is still there, and he's his normal self. Seeing as Timmy wished for him, you'd think he'd be a turnip.

Honestly Channel Chasers could be the perfect ending for Fairly Odd Parents but Nick were too stuborn to let that happen. Thank God it got cancelled but sadly the damage has been alredy done way before it got canned

Wait if they remove all his wishes, Poof would be erased so is Foop a lawyer right now? I really wish they didn’t make Poof actually talk

5:21

In Lawsuits without a clear accusatory party, it would typically be the state (For Example, the State of California vs. OJ Simpson.) Therefore, the case would be Fairy World v. Timmy Turner. That raises questions about why Foop was the Plantiff's attorney, considering he's an Anti-fairy... But what do I know? I'm correcting a YouTuber who's Probably never going to see this comment on a review about a cartoon. I'm the dumb one here.

But wait, wasn't Mark Changs whole deal with Timmy in later seasons after his introduction is about him avoiding a marriage with the mad evil space princess Mandie who's whole marriage is suppose to lead the destruction of Earth and for the rise of an evil alien empire ruling the galaxy. Isn't that more then enough reason to justify Timmy's wishes since without him and his wishes earth would be destroyed and the universe would be stuck with basically a female Frieza? Honestly it seem like the show at this point has completely forgot about Princess Mandie despite all of the comebacks in this episode.

Well when you word 3:33 like you did, I wouldn't be surprised if Timmy's high school yearbook photo says "Most Likely To Commit Arson."

The show should have ended with meet the odd parents.

I actually like this episode, but i agree that it is too long. Well, at least the story of part one is too long. I think it could have been better like that:
Episode 1a: Celebrating the 1.000.000 wish, having Foop against Timmy in the court and AFTER 10 minutes he reveals his plan, notices his mistake and then getting unwished.
Episode 1b: Old Timmy learning about fairys from Crocker + a Cosmo & Wanda subplot
Episode 2a: The Timmy crew trying to find Poof and fighting against some bad unwished wishes
Episode 2b: Timmy sacrificing himself, the fairy council turns everything back to normal and then they could show Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda & Poof having a good time together while knowing that this time will end in some years.

It actually could have been a very good series finale, but now it's like a nice try. However season 8 was the last tolerable.
