'The Dying Rebel' - Irish Folk Song [+Lyrics]

"The Dying Rebel" is a popular Irish rebel song about a man finding a father in the 1916 Easter Rising, and later finding the son himself, who dies in his arms. The song reflects on the human cost of rebellion rather than the glorification of the conflict. The exact origin of the song, as well as its author, is unknown. This recording was released by The Young Wolfe Tones in 2016.
