Never had to replace ink cartridges with the first Epson printer I had just refilled with a refill kit. But Epson started to fit chips to cartridges in the new printers so you had to buy new cartridges and at a cost. The number of cartridges that I had to replace that still had ink in. I have a had a chip resetter for a number of years and the money I have saved by using it. Just paid a few pounds for the refill kits 😁. 👍

Hi Printer Refresh people. Love your work! A few questions - in the product description, it states "Chips can usually be reset numerous times but as they are manufactured with the intention of being used only once, we cannot guarantee any cartridges or chips beyond their intended single use life span." Can you tell me what is the usual number of resets in your experience? It also says that once the printer has recognised the cartridge as being empty, it can't be reset. Given that the printer seems to recognise the cartridges as being less full than they are, how are we to tell when this is about to happen? Cheers :)
