When I tried this flavor, it surprised me that there were barely any chocolate chips in it. All I saw and tasted were chunks of cookie dough. I thought that was a bit odd, but I guess I should've been expecting it.

Tami - A few days ago I purchased a Halo Top cookie dough, and thought it tasted better. It was softer/creamier than I remembered. It wasn't until I ate the entire thing that I noticed on the packaging a "now creamier" label. It wasn't just my imagination, they've updated the recipe and now include ultra filtered skim milk.

From their press release: "Throughout 2022, our fans can now enjoy their favorite Halo Top Dairy Light Ice Cream flavors with even creamier texture thanks to our latest reformulation. The new recipe will give fans all the delicious taste they know and love from Halo Top with an increase in creaminess, "

While I enjoyed Halo Top previously, it's even better now, imo.

i looked at ur review before i bought this they changed and now there's lots of chocolate chips in the ice cream but barely any cookie dough!

I wonder who names their ice creams? It's like their peanut butter cup ice cream that has no peanut butter cups and some of thei other Ice creams where the name does not fit. Reminds me of that Blue Bunny one that I told you about, the chocolate chip mint that had no chocolate chips. Poor quality control. Sound tasty though the cookie dough ice cream. :0)

This is one of my favorite from the new flavors also. The new ones I would say my top ones are cookie dough and sea salt caramel. But the older ones my top 3 are vanilla bean, mint, bday cake and strawberry. All the rest are excellent but these 6 are the ones I would stock up on. I will say runner ups are smors and oatmeal lol

ice cream is a bit like a new song. After a eating a few tubs (listening a few times) you find out your real opinion.

if you ever buy it again, see if it has more chips. it could be that batch
