Is Caitlin Clark The Biggest Name in Basketball!? Bill Simmons recently posed the question “Is Caitlin Clark bigger than every NBA star under 30?" The answer was yes. And the data shows that, too. Caitlin has more interest over the last 12 months on google than Victor Wembanyama, Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards, and LaMelo Ball. She also might be competing in the NBA 3-point contest at All-star weekend with NBA players Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

Now, the "Paige is better than CC" stuff is rearing its head everywhere, too. Forget the stats--which are not even a comparison to start with. Fact is, Paige has already missed almost TWO full seasons in the NCAA--with career-threatening injuries. By contrast, Caitlin never missed a game in her 4 years at IOWA. Not ONE. And she missed ZERO games in her rookie season in the WNBA, despite being marked for death and withstanding about 19% of all flagrant fouls during the season--while being left totally unprotected by her coach, her teammates, the referees and the commissioner.

Caitlin was literally like the only Navy SEAL survivor behind enemy lines in Afghanistan. Alone on an island with hostiles under every rock. Taking enemy fire with every other breath she took. Death by season-ending injury almost inevitable. And STILL, she managed to break 62 records and turn in the BEST rookie season EVER. Had she not dealt with rampant sabotage and inept teammates, she would've likely posted the first season ever of 1000 points + 500 assists. Insane. And YES, Caitlin was the TRUE 2024 MVP. The debate ends there. Please move on, Caitlin haters. Seek life elsewhere.

CC fan from Australia. My brother knows who Caitlyn Clark is & he's never followed basketball. He wouldn't have a clue who any of those NBA players under 30 are. He knows Steph & LeBron but that's all. Caitlyn would sell out any arena here in Australia if the Fever played here. She is global. Most of the WNBA analyst just haven't got it yet about CC appeal & why we fans on the other side of the world love watching her play. They will eventually. Golf got it.
