I had an evo and loved it, done my 1st race ever this year on it and can a test to how it stands up to bikes at triple the price.. It climbs well, rolls well and handles well. Ive took it down black and even orange graded tracks in local bike parks,

I make to suggestions, add a dropper + change tyres if you ride natural trails, i chose maxis minion for front + high roller for rear, made a massive difference on gnarlier terrain., i recently upgraded to a triple b. And love it too.

I have this bike ! Fitted a giant dropper with shifter style remote got rid of qr seat clamp enduro guard 28 tooth front ring .. did set up tubeless with these tyres .. dont bother a real pain back on tubes one new tyre later 👍🙃 sweet bike 🤟

Just picked up a bossnut evo for just over £750 with all the discounts brand new and it’s such a nice bike. I normally ride a cube fritzz 180mm travel enduro and a carbon yt tues but I can honestly say this bike is fantastic all round trail bike. Feels so much more expensive than it is and at that price there’s nothing better

Calibre have been doing something right with the bossnut. Good bikes are getting cheap and cheap bikes are getting good. I did wonder what you still thought of this bike after the buzz of the '£1000 full sus' that was actually good, had died down. Never ridden one of these but it certainly is an impressive package, and that 1x is a welcome change for most people Im sure.

Love mine. I built and rode many different bikes from the early 90's to the mid 00's. Had 7/8 years or so out of it as work and buying a house wax priority. So impressed with this bike for the money. Many of my mates with bikes more than twice as much, have commented on how good it is and what great value also. Only reason I will be selling mine, is so I can purchase the new Calibre Sentry.

Edit: I also find it crazy to meet the person who designed my bike - this would basically never happen for a large bike brand. So happy Mike made mountain biking so much more accessible for more people.

I also think the main appeal of this also is that it reminds me of an older orange five when they were more trail orientated but with modern geometry

Bought one in October, great bike. Love it! Only disappointment was finding it £200 cheaper in the black Friday deal! Oh well, you can't win them all!

A bike that doesnt cost as much as a compact car is actually excellent? No way! You dont say! How can this be? Surely all those expensive bikes are much better or could it possibly be that all this time we have been ripped off? Sheesh, nah, they would NEVER do that to us.

I custom built my bike for a total of $600. Every penny was worth it. It’s used the frame of the Hyper Hydroform, bars, wheels, brakes, saddle and post and cranks as an old diamondback, then a 1 by 10 Shimano drivetrain. It has a 120mm air fork up front and a highly adjustable coil in the rear.
