Indeed & exactly - how to use English interjections

Communicating agreement or acceptance to another speaker's statement, comment or remark. Interjecting and using "indeed" and "exactly" for English students and learners.

Although much rarer, 'quite' and 'rather' can also be used as an exclamation to express emphatic agreement although their usage may be considered too formal or dated, especially 'rather' which used to be said 'ra-ther' with the accent on 'ther' - particularly by those who were upper class or aspiring to be.
