Already in its 8th generation of building the ninety-eight, Oldsmobile had completely redesigned the land yacht for the 1965-1970 model years. It was also the largest and most elegant of all Oldsmobiles offered. Six body styles were offered for the 1969 model year but only less than 5,000 were convertibles out of the almost 700,000 Oldsmobiles prododuced for the 1969 model year. This particular convertible is a real time capsule with what we believe to be a accurate 28,000 miles from new and only two long term ownerships in its history. This is a very nice example that has had the inerior re-dyded at some point in its life due to fading. There is no rust or rot anywhere with the only blemishes is normal wear and tear with stone chips. The paint is original, the top goes up and down as it should, all windows operate flawlessly and the car starts, runs and drives down the road like a giant American automobile of its time. There is a lot of real estate on these big cars. This car comes with a recent service, good tires and brakes and is ready for its next big adventure.

Needs a narrative to describe the car. I know it's a 69 Olds 98 convertible. What size is the engine? Does it have air conditioning? I know power steering.brakes, power windows and A 2 way power seat were standard equipment.

Thanks, I couldn't remember if Olds had switched over from the 425 to the 455 CID V8 by 1969.. I appreciate the info.

The car needs new coil springs. Way to low in the front.
