Always loved watching Derek play back in college. I was president of the tennis club the year Derek was a member of the team that went to nations. Very odd to see him play with a non-Babolat since I have only seen him play with one.

Winston, there's about two things that you must REALLY focus on.

1) Use your entire body to increase the speed of the first service (you're just using your right arm atm) cause there's no difference in pace between your first and second. Jump higher and BAM!

2) Gotta improve your footwork by being moving swiftly on your toes. You have a habit of planting your feet flat and moving slowly. You should adopt the sideways stance when hitting a forehand. Forehands like you hit at 10:41 is a big no no!

Your kick serve and backEND have improved quite a lot over the past couple of months. Second serve could use more pace and sometimes you have this bad habit of waiting for a ball to bounce too low before hitting the backend and you end up hitting straight to the net.

You're already a decent recreational player, but you have the potential to become more dangerous on the court.

Fun match to watch. Derek's shot selection was pretty interesting. He hit 99% of his backhands down the middle or crosscourt and 99% of his made forehands down the middle or down the line.

I had been playing with the Wilson Profile 95 for decades and I finally went to a Wilson Blade V6 98, I was hitting the Babalot Pure Drive 110, and I asked Winston about that Racquet about 6 months ago and he suggested a smaller head size and I agree with Winston, although I ripped the ball with the Pure Drive it felt like I was cheating because the racquet was so much bigger than anything I had ever played with, and lighter than anything I ever played with. Thank you Winston for the advice and thanks for posting this match against Derek both of you guys played amazing tennis today! Great job my dudes!

Winston has some heavy topspin on his forehand. I think other parts of his game looks more like a 4.0 but I think that fh moves him up to 4.5
