For some reason I don’t fully trust them with what I’ve heard about in terms of auto industry and their sabotage of public transit stuff. It has the potential to be positively impactful though, fingers crossed.

Gotta love when companies buy a beloved brand just to discontinue it immediately.

Car manufacturers have the capacity to manufacture millions of good quality reliable and affordable e-bikes.
But it seems all of the ones who have gotten involved in the e-bike sector are only in the premium brands and even more premium priced end of the market.
I wait in hope for millions of mass produced and affordable e-bikes to get millions more people out of cars.
Actually when I put it like that, maybe that's not what car manufacturers would want at all!

Huh i can see them buying all the competitors and cornering the market like what Uber has done to transport industry

That's like McDonald's making a Vegan-burger; they do it, but I wouldn't trust it. Same with car companies making bikes, because they are not doing it for altruistic reasons, they just want to corner the market from every angle.
