INGREDIENTS for Berta Jay's
Indian Cauliflower
-----------------------------------------------------

3 cups cauliflower - cut into small florets (use the stems also)
2 medium potatoes (2 cups cubed) - I used red potatoes
3/4 teaspoon grated ginger
3/8 - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (I used a little less than a 1/2 tsp)
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika (I used smoked paprika)
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup of frozen thawed peas
8 - 10 turns of your black pepper mill

My objective for this channel is to share with others what I have learned over the last 30+ years about living and eating healthier. I share my knowledge with my small circle of friends all the time. I am not a doctor, nor do I hold any type of medical degree, but I believe that my tried experiences may help someone else.

For over 30 years I have used every diet imaginable to lose weight, but I confess that I am now at home using the vegan lifestyle. I want to share what I have learned about eating and enjoying food. And, since I am still learning how to be more consistent with this lifestyle, I have decided to eat more healthily, realizing the weight will come off eventually. Though I have not reached my goal weight, I know that sharing with other people in front of a camera with help me to stay on course.

I have, with the help of my husband of 37 years, raised 3 grown children. I will also share some cooking shortcuts as well as some natural formulas I have used and still use for everyday problems.

Staples in my kitchen!
Thank you, Berta!! :)
Incidentally, is easy to peel ginger with a spoon (gets in all the crevices) and is less wasteful than using a knife----

Just eating your Indian Cauliflower, yes it is good and I will definitely a do over 👍😊✅
I have to get your thoughts on the fact there’s no protein. I really enjoyed it, but my sister is like where’s the protein?
You don’t have a protein on your plate either. I’m bad for not eating protein, are you the same as me?

Berta, another wonderful creation. I bet sweet potato would also work well. God bless you for inviting us into your kitchen. Love, Tamson😇

Beautiful!!! This is so similar to how I learned at an ISKCN temple. Today, I’d add chiles, any type. And onion and garlic. One warning for those looking at purple potatoes, cook the potatoes separately with all spices except turmeric, then combine the cauliflower and peas to limit color transfer.
