Facial Recognition Security Camera AI Software Setup

The camera is connected to this Viewtron IP camera NVR.

The Viewtron NVR bookmarks all of the face detection events so that it is very simple for users to jump to the video surveillance recordings using a timeline search. Users can also use the intelligent analytics search screen to display thumbnail images of all facial recognition events.

What is the different between facial recognition and face detection?
Face detection detects any face that comes in the the detection zone of the security camera.
Facial recognition compares faces with the faces that are in the database on the NVR. This can be used to decide if the person is known or a stranger.
