DROPLET Trailer - The Next Small Thing

I bought a Droplet in October 2021. It was a used rental - one year old. The trailer and wheel wells are rusted, I wonder if the trailer was used and the only the Droplet cabin was built new.
The driver side door never closed properly. Because of the pandemic I coudl not take the trailer out until May of 2022. The door could only be locked from inside the cabin. It flew open while I was driving about 40 MPH. When I was in Vancouver BC (I live in Oregon) Pascal said his shop was "full" and could not even look at it for a month.
I have returned after a summer away (the Droplet sat in my driveway all summer) I cannot even get the door to lock from inside the cabin. I have written Pascal again, asking how I can secure the door so I can drive back to Canada and have him look at it. $20K and I can't even pull it down the road without rigging the door shut with bungie cords.
