I would like to thank you all for the great feedback.
I wanted to give more insights on how I approached the song and the whole video in general.
Exactly as I do with every song I cover (for Example Altitudes or Perpetual Burn) I try to go AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to the original. I did a few personal things here and there but the main goal was to play it as close as humanly possible to the original.
I didn't use any tab for this. Only the original recording and 2 specific live video performances by Mr Vai.
The G3 1997 and the Live in Astoria. These 2 are my favorites.
I approached the video and audio exactly like every other video cover. I play the song LIVE START TO END while the camera and the Cubase are recording.
I really like having different angles in my videos and generally give you nice quality video so I do that with EVERY SINGLE TAKE. I record the video and the audio together and I pick my favorite COMPLETE take and then I choose angles.
The gear used is written in detail in the description box.
