The U.S. government STOLE body parts

In the early 1950’s, at the height of the Cold War, scientists worried about the effect of radioactive fallout on the world’s population. So the Atomic Energy Commission took body parts from dead babies in other countries and shipped them to the U.S. for testing without getting consent or even notifying parents. #history #historyfacts #science #scienceexperiment

This really isn’t that bad. Many governments, including the US federal government, have done worse.

People who are angry at this don't know how hard for even a govt to find an organ donor for humanitarian cause, let alone morally questionable thing like this. China is an example of a "superpower" run out of organ donors for morally right thing, which pressured em to secretly did/do horrible stuffs (see CCP's organ trafficking/illegal organ snatching). It's bad but thing's never as simple as good vs bad.

Yes this baby corpse thing was (and is in some places btw) inhumane. But the weapons has been there, ready to be launched at anytime. Given on how stiff the cold war before '75s, no one want to bet a risk to be a saint over a cute carcass while risking millions'/billions' wellbeings.

And yes, it was in 50s, an era where you blasted a nuke upon your own patriot, not like it was justifiable, but this shit was more "tame" compared to other horrendous US nuke things.
