Tesla Roadster: Will.I.Am Shows Off New Car At Barney's NY.

Black Eyed Peas band member Will.I.Am gives a mini presentation to a friend of his convertible. Not just a convertible, though, a Tesla Roadster convertible. Driving possibly one of the first 500 models delivered to customers from 2008-2009, Will.I.Am knows his cars: 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and 244 miles on a single charge. Yup, that's what we said, a single charge as this is a battery electric vehicle (BEV). Tesla only produces electric cars, some you might see in Suburbia, and most are like the sport car the Will.I.Am favors. Other fans of the range from film star George Clooney all the way to former Secretary of State Condelezza Rice. That speaks to the wide spread appeal of Tesla.
