Just seen Gogo Penguin week ago in Chicago 😃 and have found your review while researching dac upgade possibilities from my denon da 300us and xduuo xd05 plus to something better for my new lsa hp2 headphones ( kenneron gh50) and smsl su8 amp setup . I was using Fostex th x00 but after about 10 000 hours on them decided its time for upgrade . Im thinking about topping e70 or e70v or maybe gustard x16 or dacmagic 200 or prebox s2 .

great review...some reviewers say that the treble region of the E70 is rolled off. I do not listen to headphones but IEMs once in a while. Many say that the E50 is more lively in the treble region compared to the E70. Is the E70 too rolled off for speaker use and may shortchange the listener with lack sparkle at the top end and perhaps makes the E50 a better choice? I have B&W Matrix speakers powered by Marantz amp. Thanks for your opinion/suggestions.

Excellent review. Appreciate the comparison to the E70 Velvet. In terms of overall bass quantity which has more the E70 Or E70 Velvet? Also which has a more punchy and Fun sound without being Sibilant in the trebel region?

Also does the chord Mojo 2 have a better sound quality compared to both the topping E70 and E70 Velvet? I am not comparing features only sound quality.
