After Effects Quick Shattering Morph Tutorial

A quick technique that creates a complex shattering morph between two still images in After Effects.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get this to work. I've tried png's, I've tried solid backgrounds, but it won't work for me.

After goofing around with this, I manually stretched my clip, then put the settings in place and it worked, yay! But, is that a step that's missing or did I not follow you properly?
