I was hoping that getting all the parts would make you immune to the gloom, since the point of collecting all this is to purify yourself from the damage that the gloom did to you. Would make sense that by getting all the purifications, you would become too strong to be damaged by it.

I'm like 99% sure this guy is meant to be both Zonai and Gerudo. Not just because of the red hair, but because the jewelry mimics styles of Gerudo jewelry seen throughout their history. The golden neck rings are very similar to ones that Riju wear, the forehead gem is similar to what Ganondorf wears in several incarnations, and the golden earrings are just popular with the Gerudo in general. No, I don't think this guy is meant to be the rare good incarnation of Ganondorf, he doesn't really look like him - but I DO think he's supposed to be part Gerudo. That kind of golden jewelry and red hair is a pretty unusual for a Zonai (they have white-ish hair and usually wear green, jade-like jewelry), and the facial features + body type are also slightly more humanoid than usual for a Zonai (the ears are MUCH smaller and fully skin instead of hair/fur-covered, the limbs are smaller and more human in proportion, the waist is much shorter, etc). Interestingly, while the skin color is still distinctly non-human, its actually a deeper, darker shade than other Zonai. This could also hint at being the offspring of Zonai + humans with darker skin, like the Gerudo, or could even hint at being the child of Gerudo with that green-ish hue that Ganondorf, Koume and Kotake have.

Finished all shrines today and honestly pissed that they made it 152 and not 160. They did the same thing in BOTW and absolutely no one liked it why did they do it again.
Those two missing heart spots will always piss me off, they at least coulda moved one heart down to even it out but nah they had to make it annoying.

Nice to know that going out of your way to collect everything is kinda a waste of time. This outfit is cool, but there's no special effect. So you get this, Hestu's poop, a blupee, a snowglobe, a stable discount, and a good-for-you medal if you 100% the game
