3 years ago Alakh sir himself explained this lesson on a white board and now great teacher working under him are explaining on smart boards😄😄it's a matter of time

Homework ques:- a) because tungsten has a very high melting point and that's why it will not break at high temperatures.
b) because alloys have a higher resistivity than metals.Thus alloys will resist more and produce more heat
c) because if any one appliance gets fused or breaks down The whole circuit path will be broken and no current Will flow.
d) Because they are very good conductors of electricity, i.e they have a very low resistivity. Thus no wastage of current takes place.

43:30 sir 2 second ka question tha P=VI se ho jata
Let No. Of bulbs = n
-> 10n = 220 * 5
N = 1100/10 N=110

Sir aapne calcution per bht acha dhyaan diya hai aur channels calculation nhi kraate jismain bht zyada difficulty aati hai physics numericals ko krne main thanx sir for your best efforts 😊😊😚 keep going

In 11th question solution is very complicated if we use
P=VI
P=220 × 5
P=1100 w
Then,
n = total power ÷ power in 1 lamp's bulb
n = 1100÷10
n = 110 bulbs

Hw: a) because tungsten have very high melting point (3380).
b) because alloys have high resistivity as compared to pure metals and they also do not gets oxidised
c) series arrangement is not used in circuits because if one resistor breaks circuits fails.
d) copper and aluminium wire is used because it has low resistivity.

38:40 Given:
V=220v
I=5A
Using p=vi
P=220×5
(Toral power of all bulbs)P=1100w
Rating of 1 bulb, p=10w
Therefore to find no. Of bulbs =total power of bulbs/power of each bulb
1100/10=110

Note: Ignore my grammatical mistake and understand the feeling.

Sir you are the besssst Teacher I ever experience on online platform or even offline . Sir you make everything soo simple as students can understand easily.The way you teach is owsam and entertaining . You never make us bore . The way you scold or say anything is loveable. The all I want to say is THANK YOU SIRRR ❤❤❤❤❤❤

HW - (a) because it has high melting point
(B) because alloy has high resistivity compared to pure metal.
(C)in series arrangement same current will flow through all electrical appliances which is not required.
(D)- because copper and aluminium wires has low resistance

RajendraSingh-wmnx

25:06 Wire B is more thicker than A because resistance is inversely proportional to thickness. B has less resistance than A, so it must be thicker than A.

2)(i) Let the resistors be R1(20Ω), R2(10Ω) and R3(5Ω)

Current through R1= 6/20= 0.3A

Current through R2= 6/10= 0.6A

Current through R3= 6/5= 1.2A

(iii) As, R1, R2 and R3 are connected in parallel,

1/Rp=1/R1+1/R2+1/R3

=>1/Rp=1/20+1/10+1/5

=>1/Rp=1+2+4/20

=>1/Rp=7/20

=>Rp=2.86(approx)

Sir., Basically one individual bulb has 10W power .
The total potential difference is 220V .
I= 5A which is total current .
So if we find total power of the bulbs connected that will be 220*5=1100 W
This is the power of all bulbs is 1100W and power of one bulb is 10 W
Hence, total no. Of bulbs =1100/10=110
Easy

27:08 alakh sir right ??😂
About 30% to 40% of total question are totally new for us right or only I feels it ...😪😐thank you sir for such an important video ...
Now homework ..
Ans i)⭕ Tungsten has high melting point it doesn't melt easily so tungsten is used ...
Ans ii) ⭕Alloy have high melting point and high resistivity as compared to pure metal, so definitely it will produce more heat therefore alloy is used ..
Ans iii)⭕It is not good to connect home appliences in series if one of them will fall or fuse complete circuit will break and other appliances also stop working .
Ans iv)⭕ The resistivity of copper and aluminium are very low, so electric current flows easily through them. Hence copper and aluminum wires are usually used for electricity transmission.

Home work:
(a) because tungsten have high melting point and its melting point is 3800° approx.
(b) because alloy has greter resistivity as compare to pure metals.
(c) because series light gets devided in different bulbs as the voltage will get less Also if one bulb get damaged it will close the whole circuits that's why series arrangements are not used in domestic circuits.
(d) because they are good conductor of electricity.

Sir yha hm total power nikal ke power of 1 bulb se divide kr de to bhi no. Of bulb easily nikal aayega

P = VI
220×5 = 1100 watt
And power of 1 bulb = 10

So, no. Of bulb
= Total power/power of 1 bulb
1100/10 = 110 bulb

Homework:
1. Tungsten has high resistance and melting point. Due to this, when voltage comes across the filament it gets heated to a very high temperature due to which it glows. This is why tungsten is used exclusively for filament of electric lamps.

2. The conductors of electric heating devices such as bread-toasters and electric irons are made of an alloy rather than a pure metal because the resistivity of an alloy is more than that of the metal due to which it can produce more heat.

3. Series arrangement is not used for domestic circuits because if one of the circuits is fused then current will not be able to flow from the remaining circuits as in series arrangement there is only one path for the flow of current. Therefore the remaining circuit will not work either.

4. Copper and aluminium wires are usually employed for electricity transmission because they are good conductors of electricity, i.e. they have low resistivity which reduces the loss of current.
